Inclusive, trauma-informed, comprehensive, and evidence-based Childbirth Education with a justice-based lens.

I am a Childbirth Educator Certified by Birthing Advocacy Doula Trainings.

❋ Organized curriculum

The course is divided into 4 lessons that each last 2 hours.

We cover pregnancy comfort, communicating with your medical providers, comfort measures for labor, the stages of birth, and postpartum care for parent and baby.

You will talk, listen, watch, practice, read and write in this class.

You will be guided on how to create your own birth plan.

❋ Interactive learning methods

Accessible and clear information provides a quick reference guide

❋ Handouts after every class

We all have an individual fertility path, individual health history and therefore individual goals and needs for birth.

This class provides the information so you can make informed decisions to make the best choices for you and your family.

❋ Non-judgmental

All folks are welcome: all family structures including single parents, all methods of conception, all backgrounds.

A support person is strongly encouraged to come to the class and is an important part of the process.

❋ Inclusive environment

You will practice labor positions, comfort measures, and newborn care. The muscle memory really helps when you’re in the moment.

❋ Hands on activities

All questions are welcome and encouraged throughout from birthing people and their support person.

❋ Supportive Space
